Neeraj Chopra: India’s star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra is currently in headlines due to his game. With this, Neeraj is the third javelin thrower in the world to become gold medalist and world champion in the Olympics.

After winning the gold medal in the World Championship, Neeraj took part in the Zurich Diamond League, where he could not perform at his best, but managed to finish second with a throw of 85.71 metres. With this, Neeraj was able to qualify for the Diamond League finals to be held in Eugene, USA on 17th September.

Neeraj got more than 50 lakh prize money for winning the world championship

On winning the gold medal in the World Athletics Championship 2023, Neeraj Chopra received 70 thousand US dollars as prize money, which is about 58 lakh rupees according to Indian rupees. Switzerland Tourism has also honored 25-year-old Neeraj for his brilliant performance and wished him all the best for the future.
